Tilghman Beach & Racquet Club #109

The rental unit itself was nice. It’s a bit tight for 6 people to relax in though. 6 people cannot sit in living area and all see tv without a 6th person pulling up extra chair — and that’s with 3 people sitting on futon (it’s not an actual couch). Complex is a bit rundown, which was a turnoff when we arrived. It’s very close to the beach though. And pool was fine.

A big thing was that we didn’t care for the fact that 2 grills, 2 picnic tables and outdoor smoking area were on ground level immediately next to this unit. We would have had to endure cigarette smoke if we sat out on porch area which is a big negative for us. And people did use grills right outside unit several times during our stay. Had nice view of that which was not ideal for us.

Overall this is a nice unit in a just okay complex very close to the beach (with ocean views!) and within walking distance of places to eat and get ice cream. Proximity to the beach made up for the negatives for us. It was too hot and muggy for us to want to sit outside on porch, otherwise the people smoking and grilling would have bothered us significantly more!

Another thing - the luxury linen package offered nothing of luxury! Super cheap and thin sheets. And thin, cheap hotel-like towels. Need to drop the word “luxury” on that!
Washer and dryer were super old (like 30 years old?) so was afraid of dryer overheating and ruining clothes. And washing machine smelled really bad.
Unit had several games, dvds and books which was nice. Also some beach chairs and cart which we did not use.

The unit was very nice and roomy and met all our needs. The location was great for all the activities our family enjoys. The staff responded to our questions and requests very quickly and were very courteous. The only thing I would like to have changed would be newer pans in the kitchen. I would like to suggest when the check in instructions are provided you would add the building number the unit is located in. We would definitely revisit this unit in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The condo was decent... I had to call to get linen for 2 of the bedrooms, and it looks like the just went to Walmart and brought comforters in the bag and left them at my door. I had a 3 bedrooms, and only 2 parking passes. Which was fine, until we was riding with the top off and the pass flew out the car in traffic. I called for another pass and was told it would be 50.00 for a new pass and possibly a 500.00 fine for having 3 parking passes assigned to that property. Then the next day I only had power to half the unit. Called 3 times and after 3 hours waiting on maintenance, they wasn’t able to come at the moment and was told to check the breaker box. My experience was not at all good, pretty sure I’ll never stay there again!

We had such a wonderful stay here and would absolutely recommend it! The place was beautiful, very clean, and had plenty of room for everyone. One of my favorite things was that everyone had their own bathroom, which made such a huge difference with a family/group.
The home was very well stocked, had easy check-in, and it was super convenient getting to both the beach and the pool. It was also very kid-friendly, which we loved! There were lots of board games, DVDs, and books to enjoy — and I have to say, they have exceptional taste in their DVD and book choices! 😊
The washer and dryer in the unit was also a huge plus and made things so much easier during our stay. Overall, everything felt very comfortable and stress-free. We would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely coastal retreat just steps from the beach. Great amenities like the pool, hot tub, and beach access make it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Convenient, and ideal for vacation.

Great stay at Tilghman Beach & Racquet Club #109. The unit was clean, well-equipped, and in a very convenient location close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The layout was comfortable for our group, and the property had great amenities including a pool and parking. Overall, it was a pleasant and easy beach stay experience.
