It is a beautiful condo! We are older, so the steps was an issue. Next time I will ask for 1st floor occupancy or inquire about elevators. Enjoyed the quiet! We scoped the areas for possible move. That served our purpose for the trip.

Overall this was a very nice condo. The floors didn't seem very clean, like the cleaning crew just glazed over them. There was some dirt and the window sill in the kitchen. I kept the property manager in the loop of this to pass along to the cleaning crew and they were very responsive and willing to send a cleaning crew over right away to make things right. We enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful area, convenient location! Rental was exactly as described. We did receive text messages upon arrival and were told "we are only a message or phone call away". When I left a message about our departure, it never was returned. When I called the phone number a few days later, I had a prompt response.
All that being said, we had to go out and purchase hand soap for each bathroom as well as facial tissue as none was provided. Are we unusual for washing our hands after using the bathroom?? The toilet paper and roll of paper towels that was provided was very poor quality so we went out and bought our own of that as well. Supplying a nice quality of amenities goes a long way and is part of the price of doing business.
A blanket was pulled from the master bedroom to use that had a tuft of long black hair folded into it which did make us question the cleanliness of the (apparently) clean linens.

All in all, we would recommend this property to a friend, but know that some additional charges will be at your own expense.

My husband and I rented a Condo in Barefoot Landing for two nights and we are very happy with the experience from start to finish. The unit itself was very clean and quiet with comfortable beds and "beachy" furnishings. The living area and master bedroom were roomy and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials needed for cooking. In addition, the Wavecrest staff was there for any questions or concerns we needed. (We had car trouble that may have caused us to stay longer and they were right on top of finding us another unit if needed.) We will definitely be back to Barefoot Landing.

Had a few issues. Coffee pot broke and had a dirty comforter. We had a new coffee pot in 30 minutes along with 3 cups of coffee from Starbucks. Brought a new comforter before the end of the day. We played in a national womens golf tournament. This location was perfect. Half mile from the Dye course and even closer to the other 3. Nice place, nice pool. If i went back to Myrtle Beach, i would definitely book there again. Things happen but it's how they respond that matters.

The condo was perfect for our family and very clean. I would just recommend leaving a broom and dustpan in the future, so guests are able to sweep up after themselves.
