Not as expected

The only thing I liked about this place was that the condo is right on the beach. Balcony was small and dirty, the chairs not so clean either. The building next-door is being renovated so you look down to a dumpster and nasty unclean pool, but you can see the ocean(no sunrise) and watch cars go by.
Place definitely needs a deep clean! Floors were dirty and the one broom left behind to clean was dirty. It was so bad that I wanted to go get cleaning supply’s for it to feel safe and clean for my baby.
Anything and everything left behind from previous visitors was found by my 1 year old. Like old food, hair, dirt/dust and the roach traps.
Things throughout the whole unit were rusty including the bathroom shower head.
The bathroom sink smelled every time you used it.
The washer/dryer unit was very small and not clean. Also left a terrible smell on the one load of laundry we did.
Beds were very firm and old. Made a lot of creaking noises while sleeping. Would have also been nice to have curtains in the bedroom. The light from the outside hallway is bright.
Towels were clean and sheets seemed to be clean, except we did find stains.
Even though we brought a sound machine you could still hear everything going on in the hallway, the next door neighbors and the traffic from the street.
The person I had to talk to from wavecrest beach vacation was nice but she never called back about early check in that she was suppose to ask about and then I didn’t receive the check-in info so had to call for that too.
Unfortunately I would not recommend this place or stay here again.

Decent Stay on the Beach

We had a good stay. I loved that there was a washer and dryer especially since there was a pile of dirty towels that needed to be washed when we got there. The covered pool and “lazy river” was way smaller than we expected. But we still had a fun time at the pool. The shower doesn’t drain well and some of the furniture could be replaced, but it was still great place for the week. It can’t all be perfect. And we would stay there again.

The price was amazing for the experience. Their bathroom is awesome, the space is big and they have a huge tub. Their TVs are huge, no complaints there. The rooms are awesome, we had a great time.

This is my family and I’s 4th time vacationing at this location. After booking our stay for 10 days which was an amazing deal, Dani the receptionist contacted me shortly to go over everything about our trip. Dani is extremely sweet and informative. Getting closer to our trip as well as the day of our trip, I appreciated the emails and text messages to let me know what to expect on our trip and the information we needed to get to our building.
When we arrived to our room, everything looked great except the blankets/sheets by the couch. The blanket/sheets by the couch were in a bag, but had an old stain. I tried to call to have them replaced, but no response. We ended up not using them and used the clean ones on the bed. We’re not picky. Thought I’d share that. All in all we had a blast. Thank you Wavecrest! We will be back next year!

Ocean Views and a Perfect Location!

Carolinian Resort 535 was clean, comfy, and had amazing ocean views from the balcony. Great location—walking distance to restaurants and right on the beach. The pool and lazy river were perfect after a day in the sun. We’d absolutely stay here again!
